Description
Large primitive bleached walnut and flint grain thresher dating to the 19th century. Hand-carved walnut embedded with sharpened flint stones. Originally used in an agricultural setting to remove useable portions of grain from chaff and stalks. Now functions as a decorative piece leaning against a wall or mounted. Nice large-scale and naturally sun-bleached finish.
