Vernacular stick back chair constructed circa 1925 using adzed oak. This charming primitive comes from Norfolk, England, and is signed under its seat: “Jack Grimble, Cromer.” Probably originally used as a work chair, but today can serve as a fireside chair or child’s chair.

Period: 1920s
Condition: GoodWear consistent with age and use. Nice, subtle slight sun-bleaching of oak. Seat measures 14 inches high x 16 inches wide x 12 inches deep.
