Set of six late baroque Swedish dining chairs, hand-carved circa 1730-1759. Originally gilded. Scraped finish with remnants of gesso, clay-red size and early layers of gray paint. Six sold together and priced $16,800 for the set.

Condition: Excellent
Condition details: Wear consistent with age and use. Losses and fading to finish. Chair joints are recently tightened. Very sturdy, stable and can support a good deal of weight.
Materials: Hand-carved wood, remnants of size, gesso and paint. Ticking.
