Description

Petite jute and pine Scottish Orkney chair, dating to late 19th or early 20th century. Open arms, hand-woven jute back, solid seat and raised on tapered square supports joined by stretchers. Perfectly sized for fireside seating or a child.

  • Condition details: Wear consistent with age and use. Woven jute back in very good condition. Stable, sturdy. Layers of later finish removed to reveal original finish.
