Pair of leather-covered barstools (circa 1910-1940) originally from an ocean liner (large passenger ship). Seats covered in nice, old leather atop wood pedestals. Bronze-on-nickel circular foot rests and bases are both solid. Bases originally designed to bolt into the floor. Nice heavy weight. Bronze surfaces are only partially cleaned to leave some patina, but for an additional cost bronze foot rests and bases can be completely cleaned and sealed. Sold together and priced $2,900 for the pair.
Measures 29 inches high x 11 inches diameter.
