Pair of large-scale ladder-back braided-rush seat armchairs (circa 1945-1955), attributed to Paolo Buffa. Shaped ladder-back, turned arm supports, tapered round legs. Seats covered by woven bands of braided rush. Sold together and priced $10,800 for the pair.

  • Condition details: Wear consistent with age and use. Appears to be original woven rush seats and finish. A couple of slight abrasions on finish.
