Description

Pair of large mid-19th century Anduze jars. Decorated in dark brown and green drip glaze and adorned with swag decoration in raised relief. The Boisset mark featured in cartouches. Some minor chipping at bases and rims consistent with age and use. Drainage holes in bottoms of jars. Sold together and priced $9,800 for the pair. Measures H 28 in x DM 23 in and H 28.5 in x DM 23 in. (Ref. 790)
