Late baroque Swedish cupboard (buffet a deux corps) scraped back to original blue and red paint. Constructed circa 1720-1740 using mortise and tenon joints. Decorated in trim molding. Cupboard consists of two parts (for ease of transport): an upper cabinet and lower chest of drawers.

Upper portion’s two doors open to reveal two non-adjustable shelves creating three spaces for storage measuring 18.5 inches high x 33 inches wide x 14 inches deep, 9.75 inches high x 32.5 inches wide x 14 inches deep and 9.75 inches high x 32.5 inches wide x 14 inches deep. Upper shelf is notched for hanging flatware. Two upper small drawers measure 7.5 inches high x 16 inches wide x 16 inches deep (each) and the two lower wide drawers each measure 7.5 inches high x 34 inches wide x 16.25 inches deep.

Overall measurements are 76 inches high x 39.5 inches wide x 19.25 inches deep. (Ref. 785)
