Description
Late 17th century Italian walnut dining table or console with thick single plank top. Hand-carved with mortise and tenon joined construction circa 1680-1699. Originally used as a refectory table or for banquet dining, and is the perfect scale and height for modern dining with an overhang on either end of the table of 12.5 inches to accommodate host and hostess seating. Scrolled lyre-shape legs with original forged iron trestle base.
