Description

Large oval-shaped primitive Swedish dugout bowl dating to the early 19th century. Hand-carved from sycamore with bleached and scrubbed interior. Exterior scraped back to early reddish paint. Bottom is inscribed “Nils Olaf Berson” with an incised bear imprint. Dated 1801.
