Large framed 19th century classical engravings from Musee Francais Recueil Des Plus Beaux Tableaux, Statues, Et Bas-Reliefs Qui Existaient Au Louvre Avant 1815, by Jean Duchesne Aîné (1779 – 1855) and published circa 1815 (A et W Galignani, Paris). Engraving pictured on the left features ‘L’amour et Psyche’ (the union of the god of love and the goddess of the soul) and to the right is ‘Euterpe’ (muse of lyrical music) Each engraving is newly framed in natural walnut using acid-free materials. Mat window measures 16 inches x 12 inches. Four framed engravings total are available (see listing item ref. AC162A & AC162B). Framed engravings are sold individually and priced $750 each.
