Description

Large 19th century Venetian glass mirror: beautifully shaped against a thick hand-carved wood back. Verre eglomise mirrored panels framed by Murano piping and flower adornment. Mirror surface exhibits expected and beautiful signs of age (losses to silvering on its reverse). Murano flowers, leaves and piping decoration intact and complete with only very minor losses (extremely small chips, scratches, etc).

  • Condition details: Wear consistent with age and use. Some very minor losses to silvered reverse. Some replaced pieces. Very minor chipping to a couple areas of decorative Murano glass flower.
