Description

American Chippendale oxblood red painted mixed-wood side table circa 1770-1800. Originally used as a candlestand, this table retains its early oxblood-red painted finish. Square cut-corner top, raised upon baluster-turned pedestal and supported by a simple tripod base.

  • Condition: Excellent
  • Condition details: Wear consistent with age and use. Retains much of its early painted finish. Nice old patina. Early restoration efforts.
