Description

19th century French Copper and glass paneled lantern circa 1850-1889. Beautiful natural verdigris green patina and nice, large scale. Originally served as a gas-lit street lantern – now newly wired with a drop-cluster of three candelabra lights. Includes chain and a canopy.

  • Condition details: Wear consistent with age and use. Natural verdigris green and gray color patina. Replaced glass panels. Newly wired. Four feet of chain (listed measurements do not include chain). Some fading and losses to metal of finial.
