Description

17th century Italian walnut console table circa 1660-1690. All-original: rectangular top, scrolled iron trestle support, ornately carved feet/legs and remnants of original – or early – asphaltum finish. Exceptional example of an early hand-chiseled console.

  • Condition details: Wear consistent with age and use. Fading and minor losses to finish. Wood shrinkage.
