Very large colorful glazed earthenware passata bowl from southern Italy (Puglia). This rustic 19th century terracotta bowl was used in the Italian countryside to make tomato passata. Hand-crafted and glazed in a pesto-color green pattern over butter-cream. Measures H 14.25 in x DM 24.75 in. (Ref. 692C)
